These terms apply to your use of this website and to the plumbing and wastewater services provided by Regional Plumbing and Wastewater (ABN 78 178 878 200). We are licensed in the ACT (licence 2017544) and NSW (licence 352711C). By using our website or accepting a quote, you agree to these terms.

Quotes

Quotes are free. Each quote sets out the work included and a fixed price, and is valid for the period shown on it. If no period is shown, it is valid for 30 days. Quotes are based on the information available at the time, so if we find something on site that wasn't known when we quoted, we'll talk to you before going any further.

Pricing and payment

• There is no call-out fee.
• You'll know the fixed price before we start.
• We accept all major credit cards.
• Payment is due by the date shown on your invoice.
• All prices include GST unless stated otherwise.

Changes to the work

If you ask for extra work, or we find work is needed that wasn't in the quote, we'll explain what's involved and agree the cost with you before we do it.

Access to your property

Please give us safe access to the work area at the agreed time, and let us know about anything that could affect the job, such as pets, locked gates, underground services or known site hazards. If we can't get access, we may need to reschedule.

Bookings and cancellations

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let us know as early as you can. If materials have been ordered specifically for your job, we may ask you to cover their cost.

Wastewater systems and council approvals

Where council approval is needed for a new or upgraded system, we'll help prepare and lodge the application, but approval is decided by the council. For systems we service, we lodge the required maintenance reports with your council after each service. As the property owner, you remain responsible for keeping your system serviced as your council requires.

Our workmanship guarantee

All of our work is backed by our 100% workmanship guarantee. If something we've done isn't right, let us know and we'll come back and make it right.

Product warranties

Products we supply and install, such as hot water systems, pumps, tanks and treatment systems, come with the manufacturer's warranty. We'll help you register and make warranty claims where needed.

Australian Consumer Law

Our services and the products we supply come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under that law.

Our liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for damage caused by existing defects, by work carried out by others, or by products not supplied by us. Where the law allows us to limit our liability, it is limited to fixing the work again or refunding the amount paid for it.

Using this website

The information on this website, including our advice articles, is general information only and isn't a substitute for advice about your property. We work to keep it accurate and up to date, but we can't guarantee it is complete. The content, logos and images on this site belong to Regional Plumbing and Wastewater or are used with permission, and may not be copied without our consent.

We handle your personal information in line with our Privacy Policy.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the state or territory where the work is carried out.
